one nourished mama

I was going to have a nourishing moment last night....having a relaxing bath and oil hair treatment...but it just did not happen......so its happening today!!

My lovely friend ...we'll call her V....suggested I do a coconut oil treatment for my tired post baby breastfeeding falling out hair!! so this morning I have massaged my head with coconut oil...which I will wash out after my lovely oil bath....so excited!!

I found this lovely Neals Yard set at a school table top sale for £5 !!! I love destiny!! or Maktoub in arabic!!

so the masterplan for today....{ I know it's at odd times but you know you have to fit things as you can!!}

husband comes home 4:00pm.....and I want to make myself beauties for him...

so....at 2:00pm ...I will do my daily exercise.....then my lovely nourishing bath and massage with oil....a little mascara and newly washed coconut oiled hair...

one nourished mama.....

Thought for the day....

The Prophet's advice to Abudhar:

O Abu Dhar! Take advantage of five things before five things seize you; your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your spare time before your being busy and your life before you death…

  1. Nicolene, it has been such a treat to read your blog! You wonderful lady! So funny and so much health information. Oh a delicious treat for a sweet tooth but still good for you Molasses and Tahini, mixed and eaten with a spoon, leave in the fridge whenever the sweet tooth roars! Divine, you have to play with the amounts, more tahini is better and if you go for the Blackstrap molasses than only a tiny amount of it, and it's good for you too! Always find raisins take off the sweet edge too! Been eating lots of sprouts and raw with my meals rather than go the full hog raw! Find that balance is the key and to have a little of what seems 'bad' when I need to helps me not rebel!!!!! Big kiss
